Roofing contractors

Roofing jobs live and die on measurements and speed. Your rep measures each roof plane, the app turns it into squares, and the customer gets a clean estimate before your rep backs out of the driveway.

How you measure

  • Measure each roof plane length by width; the app totals square feet and converts to squares (100 SF)
  • Add waste per line so material counts come out right
  • Linear foot runs for drip edge, starter, ridge cap and ridge vent
  • Per-item charges for pipe boots, steep pitch and two-story work

Questions

Can my reps measure a roof on their phone?

Yes. Reps type the length and width of each plane, in feet or feet and inches, and the app totals the squares. Waste is added per line.

Where does the hail data come from?

The NOAA Storm Prediction Center's public storm reports. NOAA labels them preliminary, and the app says so on the map.

Will my sales reps see my costs?

No. Reps see customer prices and their own commission. Costs, crew pay and company money never reach a rep's phone.

Do I have to use your prices?

No. The app starts with a list of common items so you are not starting from zero, but every item, unit and price is set by you.
